One simple prediction:
LSU will win the 2008 BCS National Championship Game.
I’ve encountered lots of speculation in the early hours since the Sugar Bowl announcement was made. Let’s put it to a vote. Personally, I think with LSU’s talent, there is little that can stop as LSU victory over an overrated Notre Dame. Then again, who knows what “touchdown Jesus” has planned for that fateful day in Jan.

Many of you know that I am no University of Florida fan. I attended Florida State for two years before finishing at LSU. I have to say though. This Florida team deserves to play for the national title.
They should leap Michigan in the BCS and play Ohio State for the BCS Championship. I just can’t justify have a number two team in a conference play for a national title again. It just happened with Oklahoma the year LSU won the championship. USC should have come to New Orleans to play in that game. I still believe, if you can’t win you conference, you shouldn’t play for the national title.
Florida played a harder schedule. Period.
Florida played an extra game and won it. Not only did they play an extra game, to win their conference championship, mind you, they played it against a top 10 ranked team and won.
I have to hand it to the Gators. They deserve the shot at the title.
