Once again, it was an honor and a pleasure to be apart of the Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon.  This was my eleventh year involved in some fashion.  I am still amazed that I get so emotionally involved in see teh money come in for such a great cause. 

You may remember that in hosting the events, I told you that children’s emergency healthcare is a a money loser, as opposed to a money maker.  The commitment of the Sisters at Our Lady of the Lake to grow a world class children’s hospital is humbling.  They can’t do it on their own, they need the financial support of the Baton Rouge community.

I wanted to take a moment to personally thank all of you that gave this year.  It means so much to so many.

I have decided that I will start my own company.  I registered the domain redsneakerhd.com and have decided that I will start doing some of the things that I love, and try and make some money at it at the same time.  All of this keeping an eye on where the future is heading.  Wish me luck.  I’m going to need it.
