With regards to the new employment opportunity, here are links to the websites to two of the stations that I will be on for Cox:
More to come…
The time has come. After 12 years of calling Baton Rouge home, I leave for San Antonio, TX. TO those of you whom I have come ot know and love, I only hope that you are as supportive of this major change in life as I think you will be.
That which is the catalyst for the move is a wonderful employment opportunity with a solid company. Cox Enterprises, which owns Cox Communications, your Baton Rouge Cable provider, also owns a radio division with stations in San Antonio, among other cities. I have decided to accept a wonderful offer that will require me to make the move.
Yes, there has not been any announcement about this until the day I leave, however that has been due to security reasons.
I regret that I was not able to speak with you individually and let you know what was going on. I know that you will understand that there were reasons that this needed to remain quiet.
I can assure you that once I am settled in, I will give you frequent updates and details about what is going on.
Thank you for your friendship, your continued support, and your benevolent understanding.
